Just like Redfoot Tortoises, the yellow foot tortoise is found throughout South America. In different countries, they have such different characteristics. ones in Peru tend to be much larger and a wider shell. The ones from Guyana and Suriname tend to be more average size and a more narrow shell like a Redfoot tortoise. These Suriname yearlings are caprice born and held back in hopes of producing some males. Anyone knows yellowfoots knows males can be difficult to come by!
